S31803 Plate:

Duplex Steel ASTM A240 S31803 Plate Sheet Coils are generally used in Oil and Gas Industries: such as in Pipe, Vessels, Pumps, Valves, Wellhead Machinery, Subsea Machinery, Heat Exchangers, Separators, and so on.

S31803 Plate is a standard duplex grade duplex stainless steel alloy. It has the microstructure of equal austenite to ferrite ratio. SA 240 UNS S31803 Sheet is a combination of reliable mechanical stability, ductility and good corrosion resistance properties. The PREN values are above 34 which indicate that the pitting resistance is lower than super duplex grades but higher than most other steel types. S31803 Plate also has a good corrosion cracking resistance capacity. 10mm Duplex S31803 Plate also has good notch ductility at ambient temperatures and sub-zero temperatures. Duplex SA 240 S31803 Plate can be used as a replacement to ordinary austenitic stainless steel type coils. ASTM A240 UNS S31803 Strips could be used in fairly strong applications with less corrosion risks.
