ASTM B677 TP904L SMLS PIPE

ASTM B677 is a standard specification for UNS N08904, UNS N08925, and UNS N08926 Nickel-Iron-Chromium-Molybdenum and Iron-Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum-Copper seamless pipe and tube. These materials are commonly referred to as 904L, 6% molybdenum alloys, and 25% chromium-6% nickel alloys, respectively. 

ASTM B677 UNS N08904 was adopted definitions previously in this specification, were recognized as stainless steels, because those grades have iron as the largest element by mass percent. Such grades are under the oversight of ASTM Committee A01 and its subcommittees. The products of N08904 previously covered in this specification are now covered by Specifications ASTM A269 and A312/A312M.
