ASTM A928 UNS S32760 Duplex Steel S32760 Austenitic Stainless Steel Welded Pipe

Super Duplex UNS S32750/S32760 is an austenitic-ferritic stainless steel. Super Duplex UNS S32750/S32760 has excellent corrosion resistance against pitting and crevice corrosion. Duplex alloys contain about 22% chromium, while Super Duplex 32760 tubes contain about 25% or more chromium. When the chromium content increases to a significant level, the corrosion resistance of the alloy also increases.

ASTM A928 is the specification for electric-fusion-welded (EFW) austenitic and duplex stainless steel pipe suitable for corrosive or high-temperature service. The pipe is manufactured by welding two plates of steel together, forming a single pipe, using an electric arc. The welding process produces a strong and reliable bond that can withstand high pressures and temperatures.

Additionally, ASTM A790 UNS S32760 seamless pipe (seamless and welded) is much more resistant to pitting corrosion than conventional stainless steels and duplex alloys. Due to its high strength, it can also be used in high pressure environments. Additionally, Super Duplex 32760 tubing can be used at high temperatures without deforming the tubing due to low thermal expansion.
