ASTM B333 Hastelloy B-3 Plate, ASME SB333 Hastelloy B3 Sheet, N10675 Plate,  2.4600 Strip, Alloy B3 Plate

Alloy B3 is in the group of supperalloys that are called the Hastelloy which are made up of nickel, chromium and molybdenum. There are other elements to increase the mechanical properties of the alloy. The ASTM B333 Hastelloy B-3 Plate has some limitations compared to the other members of the Hastelloy plate family. ASME SB333 Hastelloy B3 Sheet has less resistance to oxidizing agents. So N10675 Plate could not be used with ferric salts or cupric salts because they can cause premature corrosion due to the poor corrosion resistance against oxidizing media. Also, 2.4600 Strip is not recommended to be used in environments with ferrite or cupric piping where hydrochloric acids might be in circulation.

HASTELLOY B-3 alloy is available in the form of plates, sheets, strips, billets, bars, wires, pipes, tubes, and coated electrodes. ASME SB333 Hastelloy B3 Sheet is used in numerous chemical process industry (CPI) applications, especially in the construction of reaction vessels for pure, reducing acid service.
