1.4562 Plate is made of an iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with nitrogen addition. The UNS N08031 Plate fills the gap between special alloyed austenitic stainless steels and nickel alloys. Alloy 31 Plate has been proven especially in the chemical and petrochemical industry, in ore extractors, environmental and marine engineering as well as in oil and gas production. 1.4562 Plate is a nickel, chromium and molybdenum stainless steel with nitrogen and copper additions. Alloy 31 Hot Rolled Plate combines moderate tensile strength and high ductility with excellent corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid, reducing and oxidizing media and has strong resistance to corrosion and erosion corrosion in phosphoric environment.

- Excellent resistance to corrosion and erosion in phosphoric acid media
- Excellent resistance to general and localized corrosion in Chloridoxid bleaching plants in paper production
- Certification to ISO 15156/MR 0175 to level VI for sour gas applications in the oil and gas industry
- Excellent resistance in reducing and oxidizing media, as well as in boiling 67% nitric acid
