ASTM B688 UNS N08367 Plate, ASTM B688 Sheet, ASTM B688 Strip, UNS N08366 Stainless Steel Plate.

N08366 stainless steel sheet is made of a superaustenitic (highly alloyed) stainless steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products. Cited properties are appropriate for the annealed condition.

 

UNS N08367 Plate has a moderately high thermal conductivity and a moderately low ductility among wrought superaustenitic stainless steels.

 

Among wrought stainless steels, the composition of UNS N08367 Plate is notable for containing comparatively high amounts of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr). Nickel is primarily used to achieve a specific microstructure. In addition, ASTM B688 UNS N08367 Sheet has a beneficial effect on mechanical properties and certain types of corrosion. Chromium is the defining alloying element of stainless steel. Higher chromium content imparts additional corrosion resistance.
