3. ASTM B165 UNS N04400 pipe Product Description

Monel 400 tube is made from a nickel alloy with approximately 67% nickel in its composition. Monel 400 is a solid solution alloy, an alloy with excellent resistance to marine environments. This is an alloy that can only be strengthened by cold working. In addition to being resistant to seawater and steam in high temperature settings, Monel DIN NR. 2.4360 pipes also tend to exhibit high resistance to salt and caustic solutions. UNS N04400 tube has a high melting point of 1350 degrees Celsius, so it can operate in high temperature applications. Specifications for this grade of nickel-copper alloys are ASTM B165 and B725. There are seamless tubes, welded tubes, ERW tubes and prefabricated tubes.
