Alloy 625 (also known as Specialty Metals, trade name Inconel 625) is a nickel-chromium alloy with high strength, excellent machinability and very good corrosion resistance. Nickel Alloy 625 Hot Rolled Sheet is made of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with high strength, high toughness and excellent corrosion resistance. The strength of Nickel Alloy 625 Hot Rolled Sheet is due to the hardening effect of molybdenum and niobium on its nickel-chromium matrix. Although Alloy 2.4856 Sheet was developed for high temperature strength, its highly alloyed composition also provides a significant level of general corrosion resistance. Its excellent creep and rupture strength make it ideal for high temperature applications, while its excellent fatigue resistance expands its usefulness. Inconel UNS N06625 Hot Rolled Sheet is widely used in the marine industry as well as in chemical, racing, nuclear and aerospace applications.

Features of Nickel Alloy 625 Hot Rolled Sheet

The key features of UNS N06625 Alloy Sheet include:

• Outstanding resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion cracking

• Immune to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking

• Resistant to caustics

• Resistant to seawater, in both flowing and stagnant • conditions, and under fouling
