Nickel Alloy 200 and 201 Welded Pipes are manufactured according to different standards such as ASTM B161, ASTM B725, ASME SB161, ASME SB725, ASTM B474, and many other international standards.
The manufacturing process of Nickel Alloy 200 and 201 Welded Pipes involves several stages. Initially, the raw materials, including nickel, copper, and iron, are melted in furnaces. The molten metal is then poured into molds to form ingots. The ingots are then rolled out into rods or bars, which are further processed into seamless pipes. Chemical Composition
Nickel Alloy 200 and 201 consist of nickel, copper, iron, and small amounts of other elements. The only difference between the two alloys is the carbon content. Nickel Alloy 200 has a maximum carbon content of 0.15%, whereas Nickel Alloy 201 has a maximum carbon content of 0.02%. This lower carbon content makes Nickel Alloy 201 more resistant to embrittlement at high temperatures.
