Inconel 600 pipe can be ordered using the Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) standard and a nominal diameter (pipe size) and schedule (wall thickness).This nickel based Alloy 600 Pipe has been designed for use across a wide range of temperature settings. Which would mean that the Alloy 600 Pipeis used in applications, where the temperature could be at extreme ends i.e. - from cryogenic to elevated temperatures in the range of up to 2000 degree F.

Also, Inconel 600 is a chromium-nickel alloy designed for temperatures up to 2000°F and down to cryogenic levels. The alloy is resistant to reducing environments as well as chloride stress corrosion cracking due to its nickel content, and to weaker oxidizing conditions due to its chromium content. Inconel 600 Welded Pipe is the first choice in applications where economics play a big role. Although less expensive than pipes of seamless construction, these pipes have longitudinal seams that can be subject to intergranular corrosion if not handled properly.
