ASTM A334 Seamless and Welded Carbon and Alloy Steel Pipes for Low Temperature Use. Standard specification covering multiple grades of minimum wall thickness, seamless and welded, carbon steel and alloy steel pipes, suitable for low temperatures. Steel shall meet the required chemical composition of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, nickel, chromium, copper, cobalt and molybdenum. The number of tubes in a heat treatment batch should be determined by tube size.

Additionally, ASME SA 334 Grade 6 Carbon Steel Seamless Pipe is a medium carbon steel pipe with a maximum carbon content of 0.30% and a manganese content of 0.29 – 1.06%. These tubes are most commonly used in a wide range of useful applications around the world. ASME SA 334 Grade 6 pipe is a flexible solid pipe with long-term wear resistance. These pipes are made to ASME codes and are monetaryly known as carbon steel pipes. SA 334 Gr 1 pipe is a medium carbon steel pipe limited to 0.30% carbon and 0.40% – 1.06% manganese. These funnels are most commonly used in applications that are generally useful around the world. ASME SA 334 Grade 1 pipe is a flexible and strong channel with durable wear resistance. These channels are produced to ASME codes and are commonly referred to as carbon steel funnels.
