Physical Properties
Duplex steel 2205 plate and sheet have excellent physical properties
that make them ideal for various applications. The material has a high
yield strength of approximately 450 MPa and a high tensile strength of
approximately 620 MPa. It also has a high resistance to corrosion,
especially in chloride-rich environments. The material is also resistant
to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
