HASTELLOY Plate comes in flat bar, forging stock, hexagon, plate, round bar, sheet, strip, and wire. These forms of N06022 Plate meet or exceed a number of different critical industry standards from the ASTM, ASME, ISO, and DIN family. To form Alloy 22, you can use standard processes, however optimum forging occurs between 1750-2050 °F and annealing between 2020-2150 °F. N06022 Plate can be gas tungsten-arc, shield metal-arc, and gas metal arc welded. Alloy C-22 Plate is a cost-effective super alloy and an excellent choice for a variety of applications that require superior performance.

N06022 Plate has excellent resistance to aggressive oxidizing aqueous media including wet chlorine and mixtures containing nitric acid or oxidizing acids with chlorine ions. Hastelloy C-22 is identified by the Unified Numbering System (UNS) designation of N06022. ASTM B575 Alloy 22 Plate is made of a nickel based alloy with high nickel (56%), chromium (22%), and molyddenum (13%). Werkstoff's number 2.4602, Inconel Alloy 22, VDM Alloy 22 fall under same UNS number.
