Alloy 625 (alternatively known by Special Metals trade name Inconel 625) is a nickel chromium alloy used for its high strength, excellent fabricability and very good corrosion resistance. Excellent creep and rupture strength make Inconel 625 Sheet a good choice for high temperature applications, while exceptional fatigue resistance widens its uses. Inconel 625 Sheet is extensively used in the marine industry as well as chemical, motorsport, nuclear and aerospace applications.

 

Characteristics
Inconel 625 Plate has excellent mechanical properties at both extremely low and extremely high temperatures.
2.4856 Plate has outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and intercrystalline corrosion.
SB 443 UNS N06625 Plate has almost complete freedom from chloride induced stress corrosion cracking.
Inconel 625 ASTM B443 Plate has high resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures up to 1050C.
Inconel 625 Coil has good resistance to acids, such as nitric, phosphoric, sulfuric and hydrochloric, as well as to alkalis makes possible the construction of thin structural parts of high heat transfer.
