The super duplex UNS S32750 material is a type of stainless steel that was developed in Sweden and is now produced by many countries around the world, including China, India, South Korea, and Japan. The origins of this material can be traced back to the early 1990s when metallurgists discovered that by adding certain elements such as chromium, nickel, and molybdenum to duplex stainless steel, they could create a material with even greater corrosion resistance. The resulting alloy came to be known as “super duplex” due to its superior properties compared to traditional duplex stainless steel. The steel plate of this material is commonly used in various applications, including offshore oil and gas exploration, chemical processing, and seawater desalination plants.

The production of the steel plate of this 1.4410 duplex material involves melting the raw materials in a furnace and then casting them into slabs. The slabs are then reheated and rolled into plates of various thicknesses. The plates are then subjected to various heat treatments, such as annealing and quenching, to achieve the desired properties.

In terms of properties, Super Duplex UNS S32750 has a yield strength of around 550 MPa and a tensile strength of 800-1000 MPa. It also has a high thermal conductivity and a low coefficient of thermal expansion, which makes it an ideal choice for applications involving high temperatures. Additionally, it is highly resistant to abrasion and erosion, making it suitable for use in heavy machinery and equipment.
The super duplex UNS S32750 stainless steel plate is used in a wide range of applications, including chemical and petrochemical processing, offshore oil and gas production, desalination plants, and pulp and paper processing. It is also used in the construction of pipes, valves, and fittings that are designed to withstand high-pressure environments. The material is preferred over other types of stainless steel because of its excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and durability.
