N08825 Plate offers exceptional resistance to corrosion by sulphuric and phosphoric acids and Incoloy 825 Plate is often the most cost effective alloy in sulphuric acid service. Sulphuric acid piping and vessels, phosphoric acid evaporators, pickling tank heaters, pickling tanks and equipment, chemical process equipment, propellor shafts, tank trucks, calorifiers, electrostatic precipitator electrodes, hot vessels for food, water and seawater, ammonium sulphate vessels, expansion bellows, marine exhaust systems, power station ash hoppers.

This nickel based steel inconel 825 plate can be used in several areas such as its application for chemical processing, oil and gas well piping, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production, pollution control equipment, and pickling equipment too.The Alloy 825 Inconel Strip Tape also demonstrates good resistance against intergranular corrosion. Incoloy Alloy 825 Hot Rolled (HR) Sheet is due to the addition of element titanium along with the combination of an appropriate heat treatment, which stabilizes the Incoloy Alloy 825 Sheet against sensitization to alloy 825 plate intergranular corrosion.Another reason why the Incoloy 825 Plate is used in the above industries is because as an alloy, the offers good mechanical properties at both room as well as elevated temperature settings where the heat could rise up to approximately 1000°F.
