Duplex steel 1.4547 sheet plate

 

Duplex steel UNS S31254 1.4547 sheet and plate are high-performance materials designed to withstand harsh environments and resist corrosion. This type of steel is a popular choice for many industries, including chemical processing, pulp and paper, power generation, and oil and gas. The high content of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen gives the steel its exceptional resistance to corrosion and high strength.

• Nitrogen - 0.18 - 0.22%
• Carbon - 0.02%

Duplex steel 254SMO 1.4547 sheet and plate have excellent physical properties, including high tensile and yield strength, excellent toughness and ductility, and good weldability. The physical properties are as follows:

• Density - 7.8 g/cm3
• Melting point - 1320 - 1390°C
• Tensile strength - 650 - 900 MPa
• Yield strength - 300 - 500 MPa
• Elongation - 35 - 45%
• Hardness - 230 - 290 HB
