Hastelloy X Plate is a high temperature and corrosion resistant nickel-based solid solution strengthened alloy plate. Alloy X Nickel Sheet has outstanding resistance to oxidation and possesses exceptional strength at elevated temperatures. Molybdenum enables Alloy X Coil to be hard, strong, and suitable for welding applications. ASTM B435 Hastelloy X Plate exhibits good formability and machinability.
UNS N06002 Plate is non-magnetic. It has high strength up to 1500ºF (816ºC) and good oxidation resistance up to 2200ºF (1204ºC). Hastelloy Alloy X Hot Rolled (HR) Sheet is especially resistant to carburization and nitriding, conditions which cause failure in some high temperature alloys. Hastelloy X Plate is used extensively in high temperature jet engine and chemical processing applications and is highly resistant to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. Industrial furnace applications incorporate Hastelloy Steel Plate for its resistance to oxidizing and its ability to maintain good ductility after prolonged exposure to extremely high temperatures.
